So I'm sitting here in a Holiday Inn near Hollywood after a stay at the Disneyland Grand Hotel and Spa. After spending THREE WHOLE DAYS immersed in Disney's sterile, overly cheery surroundings, with princess music blasting from every rock and bush, it's a bit of a shock to my Disney-fied nerves to drive through LA and get dumped in the ghetto. (Sing it with me, Cartman fans! "In the Ghettooooooo....")

We're switching hotels tomorrow.

In the meantime, I'll try to block out the sound of the drug deal going on in the room across the hall and get some sleep.
